Casa Lopez (Lunch Menu), Vila de Gracia

Casa Lopez is a hidden gem located just a block away from Plaça del Diamant in Vila de Gracia. Its traditional, oldschool vibe attracts both tourists and locals alike and their food selections are delicious and abundant.

We went on a Monday afternoon with our mexican friend Charlie to try their midday menu and we were amazed by the quality of the dishes.

Our opinions
Eeva – “The menu in Casa Lopez is excellent. The meatballs and fries were delicious, the rice and the egg were perfectly cooked. I love the atmosphere in this restaurant, it’s like you are actually eating in Lopez’s home. I’d love to eat here everyday if it were possible!”

Rafa – “The meatballs and fries are mindblowing, super well seasoned and full of rich flavours. The rice was also really good, the egg had a tasty runny yolk that complemented the dish perfectly. I can’t believe that you can get such amazing food for such a low price.

Charlie – “Visiting Casa Lopez is one of the best ways to fully live the Barcelona experience. A small place, but warm and welcoming. Here you can go drink beer accompanied by some tapas, watch football, or in our case, enjoy their wonderful menus of the day. Their dishes really have that ‘home’ flavor”

Final Ratings
Eeva – 9.3 / Rafa – 9.0 / Charlie – 8.1
